Admissions to NLCS Hong Kong
Welcome to NLCS Hong Kong. We are pleased that you are considering applying for a place at our School. We offer an outstanding education that is academically ambitious and holistic in nature. Our programmes are stimulating, challenging and provide every opportunity for your child to excel. Exceptional teaching is at the heart of what we offer. Our expert staff inspire our children to discover, explore and thrive. There is not a specific type of student that is suited to an NLCS education, but we do expect our students to be intellectually curious, hardworking and highly motivated.
Our School is globally minded but we also place great importance on nurturing a deep understanding of Chinese heritage and language.
As part of the NLCS family of schools, we share a commitment to academic ambition and holistic development. Our students benefit from an ethos that emphasises intellectual curiosity, resilience, and a love of learning. We set no limits on achievement offering “floors, not ceilings”.
We balance academic ambition with a supportive environment where students are encouraged to explore their interests and capabilities. From arts and sports to leadership and community engagement, we encourage every student to challenge themselves and discover their strengths.
In this section, you will find our online application form, information about our admissions assessments, grade and age checker and fees. Whilst we aim to provide as much helpful information as possible, we would very much welcome the chance to meet with you in person at our School.
Assessment Process
Upon receipt of your application and application fee, your child will be invited to an assessment session either at our School or one of our conveniently located assessment centres in Kowloon or Hong Kong Island. Assessments must be conducted within 12 months of an applicant’s expected enrolment date. We prefer assessments to be conducted in person but if students are applying from outside of Hong Kong, arrangements can be made to assess students who are unable to visit in person. Please contact our Admissions Department for further guidance.
